Decision Lab

Schema-driven trade studies a reviewer can replay.

Research software that keeps an acquisition-style decision in a versioned record: constraints before ranking, bias checks, human override, and every number traced to a source.

Applied R&D

Decision Lab is Make Ready's applied-research software for auditable studies. A decision is a structured frame — question, alternatives, criteria, constraints, assumptions, and evidence — not a paragraph from a model. A deterministic engine ranks only what passes the hard constraints. A person approves, overrides, rejects, or defers, and the original machine result stays on the record. Language models may propose a frame or a narrative; they do not become the decision. Program-specific techniques and any federal topic identifiers are withheld from this page.

Applied R&D pages describe public concepts only. Make Ready does not publish methods, source lists, metrics, or federal program identifiers here.

Decision as data

Question, scope, alternatives, criteria, constraints, assumptions, and evidence are versioned records with owners, not notes in a slide.

Constraints before ranking

An option that fails a hard constraint is excluded. Cost and value are computed only over what remains feasible.

Human control on the record

Approve, override, reject, or defer. The machine recommendation, the rationale, and the final disposition are stored together.

Replay from the source

Each run carries input and output digests. A result can be traced to the record it was read from and recomputed from frozen inputs.
