Multi-monitor analytic operations floor

Applied R&D

FALCON

Structured machine learning with verified language-model analysis.

Research software that keeps statistical models and large language models on a leash: structured predictions first, language only where it can be checked.

Applied R&D

FALCON is Make Ready's applied-research stack for analytic workflows that mix tables, models, and language. The public idea is hybrid decision support: classical and structured machine learning where the data is numeric or categorical, and language models only as a verified layer on top — with provenance, not free-form narrative as the product. Program-specific techniques and any federal topic identifiers are withheld from this page.

Applied R&D pages describe public concepts only. Make Ready does not publish methods, source lists, metrics, or federal program identifiers here.

Structure before prose

Predictions and features live in typed records. Language is used to explain or extract, not to replace the model.

Verified generation

Model text is checked against source fields and schemas. Failures are logged instead of smoothed over.

Operator workstation

Analysts see inputs, outputs, and exceptions in one place so a hybrid pipeline is reviewable, not a black box.

Separate from other R&D

FALCON is a distinct line of work from NOVELCAST. Shared engineering practice does not mean shared science or shared data.
