NOVELCAST
Time-aware analytic software for sparse, multilingual information environments.
A research platform that turns diverse public-source information into inspectable, time-stamped analytic products — with operators in the loop and claims tied to evidence.
NOVELCAST is Make Ready's applied-research software for indications-style analytic workflows in places where English open-web text is late, thin, or missing. The public concept is simple: ingest what is lawfully available, represent it as time-aware knowledge, and produce calibrated outputs a reviewer can inspect. We do not publish methods, sources, operating points, or program identifiers on this site. Those details belong in authorized channels only.
Applied R&D pages describe public concepts only. Make Ready does not publish methods, source lists, metrics, or federal program identifiers here.
Time-aware knowledge
Events and facts are stored with when they occurred and when the system could have known them, so analysis can be replayed instead of reverse-engineered.
Multilingual, multi-source ingest
The research agenda includes public local-language and broadcast-style sources alongside conventional documents — without collecting private communications.
Inspectable outputs
Alerts, watches, and abstentions are typed products with cited supporting facts. Unsupported certainty is treated as a defect.
Evaluation as software
An evidence factory and experiment registry sit in the product, not in a slide. Independent labels and frozen protocols are part of the design.
